The Process

The painting process consists of several painstaking steps: first, the parts are cleaned. Then the part is primed, sanded, cleaned and sealed. Then the special base-coat is applied and heat cured. Once dry, the clear coat is applied followed by a color sanding, buffing and finishing. This thorough process gives Sechrist the finest, strongest finish in the industry – a finish that will ensure that the paint will not smear or stain when cleaning – a finish that will maintain its luster.
